Prometheus Orchestra, Ben Parry, conductor, Michael Dolan, leader, at Jubilee Hall, Aldeburgh, Saturday 2 October at 7.30pm. Performing Francaix Le Gai Paris, Wagner Siegfried Idyll and Haydn Symphony in D Major No 6 "Le Matin".

Colchester Symphony, Chris Phelps, conductor, Philippa Barton, leader, Debbie Rogers, flute soloist, Elizabeth Bass, harp soloist.  St Bartolph's Church, Colchester on Saturday 9 October at 7.30pm.  Performing Haydn Symphony No 8 in G "Le Soir", Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp, Debussy Danse Sacree et Danse Profane and Hadyn Symphony No 85 in Bb "La Reine".

Recital at Lion's Walk Church, Colchester, on Wednesday 13 October at 1pm, Daniela Bechly, soprano, works to include Vaughan Williams Blake Songs for soprano and oboe, Kim Haan, oboe.

Phantom Woodwind Quintet Recital at St Andrew's Church, Rushmere, on Sunday 17 October at 3pm.  Sam Read, flute, Kim Haan, oboe, Steve Johnson, clarinet, Karen Bainbridge, bassoon, Dave Smith, horn.  Works to include Taffanel Woodwind Quintet and Danzi Quintet Op 56 No 2.
